My Father’s Artwork in Dutch Book Translation of What Shall This Man Do by Watchman Nee

Thank you Ed Maatkamp -Dutch Book Translator.

It was him who used my father’s painting as book cover in his translation of the book “What Shall this Man Do”by Watchman Nee.

Amako-"My Father" with Printed Book of Watchman Nee in Dutch Translation

Although we cant understand the translation because it it is Dutch my family was so delighted to see my father’s painting printed as book cover. However we understood my father’s name printed on the book:

Roberto Salva -printed on the book itself

Yesterday, we had lunch with my relatives he was very proud showing the book to them.  I cant express how glad he was but definitely it was of his happiest moment. I told him that that’s an early birthday gift to him because he’s turning 60 years old this coming July and God wanted to give him a very special gift

As per Ed, he and his group were choosing among hundreds of picture over the internet and they voted for my father’s own version of amorsolo style painting.

Just another thing to be thankful about- do you know that at the time Ed was asking me use my father’s painting i was thinking of new business for additional income for them. And Wallah! God answered me  immediately all the way from Netherlands, Ed sent us payment for using my father’s painting.

God work’s mysteriously in our lives. HE has many surprises that we cant imagine. Amako – “my father” is now more inspired to paint and have new hope. You can now see more smiles in him. Thank you Ed you made my father very happy.

Townhouse in Cavite-

For almost 27 years we’ve been Renting….and we’ve transferred house for almost 8-10 times. It has always been my DREAM to finally

go home to our own house… (and who wouldnt want to?)

Finally, I’m home, technically partial owner of a townhouse somewhere in CAVITe, partial owner because it is not fully paid but

sooner it will become 100% ours.

It feels good to sleep in my own bedroom, to take a shower in my own bathroom, and to cook in my own mini kitchen. I’m finally

HOME.

This year of 2008 is an auspicious time for me and my family that i was able to sell a property at a good price that is morethan

enough for us to pay the equity of this town house.

Just keep on praying, who knows when will God answer your prayers and it is more than what you expected.

By the way, there’s still available townhouse here, send me a message if you’re interested.

When Did I meet my One True Love?

promises to God...

with my one true love

I met my one true love at my 2nd year high. He was the “good boy image” and i really liked him considered my first love unfortunately He didnt like me though i swallowed my pride i told him i like him/ i love him but he told me he love me as a friend so for years we’ve just BEST FRIENDS…i had boyfriends and everytime we broke up i always go to him and cry and at the back of my mind i was hoping if it could be him i should have not cried…..and finally i’ve been into a relationship, serious relationship to a Chinese guy…but before i gave all the Love to this Chinese still i hoped that my Best Friend can love me more than a friend, unfortunately still i’ve got cold response. Finally when i was about to leave to China to follow my Chinese boyfriend my bestfriend and i had a chance to go to tagaytay for a business trip…it was the sweetest moment i had with my bestfriend …that’s the time he realized I am the woman he’s longing for….at first i turned away from him because i know i have a boyfriend waiting in China but i believed we’ve been friends for 12 years and gone through a lot things, 1st love never dies…. it is true to me…. also try to read the “How to Find One True Love” by Bo Sanchez…. when i was reading that book i thought of someone really special …it’s,  CHRISTIAN LIBRAMONTE ANGELES, my guy best friend. Now, after 8 months of being in the relationship with him we are planning to get married next year 2009…. Also, Last November 30, 2008 at the Kerygma Conference 2008 we’ve made a commitment to God being in a boyfriend girlfriend relationship FANTASTIC!

DMC Talks on Love of Work and Professionalism 10.30.08

Filed under: Uncategorized — amako @ 1:06 am

Where does the happiness of people coming from?  A striking question that was thrown to us by our inspirational speaker.

One of my colleagues answered, “if I do the things right then I feel happy”— Perfect!, the inspirational speaker said.  Definitely we all agreed to that.

But what was my answer to that?  A quick answer that I thought was that “I will be happy if I am doing what I want with PASSION.”

And what is my passion?  My passion is to help other people find their home/house that will fit their needs.   Just the same, my passion is to be engaged in the real estate industry. My passion in one word is to “help”.  This may sound too mushy… corny… funny… but that is really is.  For many years, we lived in the slum area and since then, I dreamed of having our own house in a subdivision.  And with God’s grace, we’ve just bought a small town house this year in Cavite which we can call our own, so you must know where my passion is coming from…and shame on me if I will not share my passion to others.  And when I share my passion… my dream – then that makes me happy.

When a person is happy with his work, then she will make ways to improve the standard of her practice EVERYDAY, and that is PROFESSIONALISM according to the speaker.

Am I happy with my work?  Well, to be honest, I’ve been in the company for eight months now and I’m not that happy because I’m still out of the sales target.  Though there were months that I’m on target, still, to date, the sales is off our projection.  This really makes me feel sad as Sales and Marketing Coordinator.  The pressure on beating or exceeding the target is on me.  This may mean that something is wrong with what I am doing – relating to the perfect answer of my colleague on what makes a person happy.  It is my heart’s desire to EXCEED the target relative to my job.  Though being off the target makes me feel sad, I still keep my self motivated that in few months, I’ll be exceeding the target which I believe I will.

It takes Wisdom and Experience to be competitive according to the speaker.  This is what I need to fit in my job right now.

Wisdom – to do the RIGHT decisions as to the sales and marketing strategies that fit on each project, to do the RIGHT decisions in handling people under my supervision, and to be a leader that serves and shows good example.  I may not have the wisdom of King Solomon (considered as the wisest king) but I can be wise as God wanted me to be.

Experience – to make decisions easier because I agree that, “history repeats itself.”  The wider experience I have, the easier for me to decide on each circumstances which already happened in the past.  To date, I may not have the widest experience in real estate but my heart’s desire will lead me to that – I will be a Sales and Marketing Icon in the real estate industry- Atty. Marivic D. Salva, MBA, a licensed broker- MBA yes, licensed broker yes, but not yet an attorney (still dreaming).  Maybe in five to six years time.

Finally, people will be happy if they do and follow their heart’s desire, and their heart’s desire SHOULD be according to God’s plan for them.  In relation to his job, this will surely lead him to Love his craft.  People who are doing their heart’s desire should have the wisdom and experience by improving their work standard EVERYDAY, and again, that is called Professionalism.

Finally Home

For almost 27 years we’ve been Renting….and we’ve transferred house for almost 8-10 times already. It has always been my DREAM to finally go home to our own house… (and who wouldnt want to?)

Finally, I’m home, technically partial owner of a townhouse somewhere in CAVITe, partial owner because it is not fully paid but sooner it will become 100% ours.

It feels good to sleep in my own bedroom, to take a shower in my own bathroom, and to cook in my own mini kitchen. I’m finally HOME.

This year of 2008 is an auspicious time for me and my family that i was able to sell a property at a good enough price that is morethan enough for us to pay the equity of this town house.

Just keep on praying, who knows when will God answer your prayers and it is more than what you expected.

Jesus and Mary

Jesus and Mary

It’s Her Birthday!

It’s Mary’s Birthday today!

What’s distinctive about the Catholic Faith is that we recognize the place of Mary in the Salvation History. It is THROUGH HER AND WITH HER our salvation become flesh and human. It’s Her who said YES to God and gave birth to our Christ Jesus

It is Jesus who taught us the Mary is also our mother. He placed His mother’s care in the hands of the only apostle present at the cross, the Apostle John, “Seeing his mother and the disciple whom he loved standing near her, Jesus said to his mother, ‘Woman, this is your son.’  Then to the disciple he said, ‘This is your mother.’ And from that hour the disciple took her into his home.” [John 19:26-27]

Now it’s Her birthday! as our gift to her of  bringing the Man who saved us. Lets us recognize and give thanks to our giving Mother!

This is the Novena to God’s Love by Bo Sanchez.

Since I’ve got hold of this prayer i’ve been praying this everyday while im on my way to the office. I am sharing this with you now because in DAYS time that i’ve been praying this I feel the Invisible hand of God working on my heart’s desires.

” Feast of Declaration of Abundance”

Today, I recieve all God’s love for me

Today, I open myself to the unbounded, limitless, overflowing abundance of God’s Universe.

Today, I open myself to your Blessings, healing and miracles.

Today, I open myself to God’s Word so that I become more like Jesus Everyday. Today, I proclaim that I’m God’s Beloved, I’m God’s Servant, I’m God’s powerful champion, And because I am blessed, I will bless the world, In Jesus Name, Amen.
