Thank you Ed Maatkamp -Dutch Book Translator.
It was him who used my father’s painting as book cover in his translation of the book “What Shall this Man Do”by Watchman Nee.
Although we cant understand the translation because it it is Dutch my family was so delighted to see my father’s painting printed as book cover. However we understood my father’s name printed on the book:
Yesterday, we had lunch with my relatives he was very proud showing the book to them. I cant express how glad he was but definitely it was of his happiest moment. I told him that that’s an early birthday gift to him because he’s turning 60 years old this coming July and God wanted to give him a very special gift
As per Ed, he and his group were choosing among hundreds of picture over the internet and they voted for my father’s own version of amorsolo style painting.
Just another thing to be thankful about- do you know that at the time Ed was asking me use my father’s painting i was thinking of new business for additional income for them. And Wallah! God answered me immediately all the way from Netherlands, Ed sent us payment for using my father’s painting.
God work’s mysteriously in our lives. HE has many surprises that we cant imagine. Amako – “my father” is now more inspired to paint and have new hope. You can now see more smiles in him. Thank you Ed you made my father very happy.

Seeing your father smile like that, makes me smile too!
